Getting Started
- What is Face Privacy?
- Face Privacy helps you request removal of your face from facial recognition databases where opt-out or removal is available. We submit removal requests on your behalf to systems like Precheck.ai, PimEyes, Clearview AI, and others used by governments, law enforcement, and private companies.
- How do I get started?
- Sign up or log in, then complete onboarding: upload a clear photo of your face, enter your legal name and consent, and choose a plan (Monthly $12.99/mo or Annual $7.99/mo, billed $95.88/year). After payment, we start submitting removal requests to the databases we monitor.
- What photo do I need for onboarding?
- Use a clear, front-facing portrait with good lighting, no glasses, hats, masks, or filters. Minimum 500×500px; JPG or PNG up to 10MB. An ID-style photo works well; we only need your face.
- I'm under 18. Can I use Face Privacy?
- You must be 18 or older, or be the parent/guardian acting on behalf of someone 18+. We need this for consent and legal removal requests.
How It Works
- How does removal work?
- We hunt down your face across facial recognition databases. You give us one photo and your identity details; we submit opt-out or removal requests to each database we monitor (Precheck.ai, PimEyes, Clearview AI, FindFace, Amazon Rekognition, Microsoft Azure Face, and others). Each has its own process and response time.
- What do I get with my subscription?
- Monthly ($12.99/mo): removal from main databases, continuous monitoring, legal removal requests, monthly progress reports, and email support. Annual ($7.99/mo, billed yearly): everything in Monthly plus priority processing, quarterly deep scans, photo protection toolkit, and priority support.
- Do you use AI or alter my photos?
- We use your photo only to submit removal requests. We store it securely and do not alter it or use it for recognition. We use it to identify you to the databases so they can process your opt-out.
Account & Billing
- Where do I manage my account?
- Log in and go to your Dashboard. From there you can see your profile, removal progress, and billing. You can update your info or manage your subscription there.
- How do I cancel or change my plan?
- Use the Billing section in your dashboard to cancel or change your subscription. You can also open the Stripe customer portal from the dashboard to update payment method or cancel. Cancel anytime.
- I have a billing issue.
- Check your dashboard first for invoices and subscription status. If something’s wrong, contact us via the Contact page and we’ll help.
Removal & Databases
- Which databases do you target?
- We monitor and submit requests to Precheck.ai, PimEyes, Clearview AI, FindFace, Amazon Rekognition, Microsoft Azure Face, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, Kairos, Face++, Idemia, and others. See our full Database List for details.
- Is removal guaranteed?
- No. Each database has its own process and response time. We cannot guarantee removal from every system or from public articles and public databases. We focus on private facial recognition databases where opt-out is available.
- How long does removal take?
- It varies by database. Some respond in weeks, others take longer. We track progress and submit requests on your behalf. You’ll see status in your dashboard where we support it.
- Can you remove me from social media or the whole internet?
- We focus on facial recognition databases and repositories that offer opt-out or removal (e.g. PimEyes, Clearview, Precheck.ai). We do not guarantee removal from public articles, general search results, or every platform.
Privacy & Security
- What do you do with my photo?
- We use it only to submit removal requests to the databases you’re enrolled for. We store it securely and do not sell or share it for other purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Is my data secure?
- We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption and access controls. We treat your facial and identity information as sensitive and use it only for the removal service.
- What are my privacy rights (GDPR, etc.)?
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. See our GDPR page and Privacy Policy. Contact us to exercise your rights.
